HAUL!! IMATS London 2013!!

So, it was my first IMATS ever! I was super excited to be there with my best friend who is just as crazy about the beauty and makeup as I am. But even more, I couldn't believe that I had a chance to spend the whole day (which was Saturday 22nd of June) amongst the same makeup 'maniacs' as I and Sabina xxx

For those of you who are not aware what IMATS is - it is an International Makeup Artist Trade Show which takes place all over the world. However, in Europe I do believe that it only occurs in London. Amazingly, I am lucky enough to live just an hour away from London so the travelling part was not the worst for me. For my friend, on the other hand, she had to travel from Scotland, which took awhile, but it was totally worth it, as we got a chance for 'the best friends reunion' time and also to go together and be a part of a such an amazing event!

As I am on the budget at the moment I could have not give myself into the makeup madness and spend the whole fortune (as much as I wanted to and believe me I would have done that!!) on beauty goodies. However, I treated myself with little things that I have wanted for a long time, and found some crazy  discounts on NARS (which was 60% off, can you imagine??) So, here's what I have got:

As you can see I did some 'damage' at the NYX counter. I could not let myself walk through it as I knew that in no other place I would be able to touch it and swatch it. I had to wait for about an hour in the queue just to get inside of the NYX 'tent' but it was absolutely worth it. And while I was standing in the queue I saw so many 'youtubers' and wanted to say hi so badly but my friend was at the other makeup counter so I couldn't move away anywhere (sad face). But, moving onto the products, here are the names what I got from NYX:

Eye shadows 101 Mermaid Green, 52 Deep Purple, 122 Morocco

I would say the you have to work with the pigmentation of eye shadows but the colours are really beautiful. And anyways, for the price - it is amazing. So far so good - love it!

Blushes 03 Angel, 11 Taupe

Here - the same. The colour pay off in the photos does not look too promising. However, I love them on my face! The peachy Angel is the most pretty blush ever, so subtle, not too much, not too little, and of course, you can build it up for a more intense look. The Taupe - I was raving about this blush for ages and could not get the hold of it for some reason. I actually expected for it to be a little bit darker, but the same as with the Angel it is very 'buildable'. And, just a quick note here - I am quite fair so for my skin, too intense, is not so good. Love those two babies!

Next - Lip gloss! The official name is 101A Sugar Pie.

Very short and straight - LOVE IT! Perfect nude colour, on top of the lipstick or on its own. Creamy texture, not too sticky, which is very important for me. And smells like heaven! What else could you ask? Thumbs up!

Crown brushes - one was without the name, the other - C141 Small Chisel Blush

So, the C141 (which is on the left in the pics) is great for contour and blush. I wanted a similar brush for a long time. I had an eye on MAC brush 109, which I still think is amazing, and I still want it. However, I went through many many brushes and this was the closest that I could get with my budget and the quality. I have to confess, I really like it. Maybe it is not going to be a replacement for MAC 109, but for now it will do, definitely. This brush was around £5 compared to MAC 109 which is around £28.

The smaller brush I would say was made with an intention to be a dupe for Sigma P82. The quality of the brush is quite similar to Sigma. However, as I bought it with a purpose to use it for my under eye concealer, I have to confess, it is quite ruff, and it hurts a little bit when you try to blend this sensitive area. I will still try to use it, it was around £5, as well so, will try to make it work somehow!

The biggest beauty of IMATS that everything is at one place and you could try everything before you buy it (discounts, as well, of course!). I was looking for something new and thus, decided to try Inglot eyeshadows as I heard lots of people raving about it. The price was very good, just £3.50 each. I got two colours to begin with and I think I will start to collect more for the Inglot eyeshadow palette.

So, the colours that I got are number 44 and number 153

Unfortunately, I did not swatch those as I did not want to unpack them before I got the palette. However, when I will finish my palette, I will do a separate blog on it with all the swatches. I still have to say that the colour pay off is amazing, I you have an opportunity to check them locally - definitely do, it is worth it! Thanks to my friend Sabina for recommending those! xxx

And the last but not least - NARS Orgasm Illuminator

I left it for the end of my blog as it is like a cherry on the top of the best cake ever! Love it so so so much! Even on my pale skin it looks so gorgeous, not too shimmery, just a nice sheen. And with an amazing discount I got this baby for £8.50!! What a bargain! Could not say enough good words about it, NARS is NARS xxx

So, that's it for my beauty purchases. I know it was not too much but the blog turned out to be so long! Anyways, I did not mentioned prices for everything that I bought because simply I just don't remember. However, if you would be interested in prices, please leave a comment and I will contact you as soon as I can!

Have a good Wednesday evening and the rest of the week!

P.S. here are some pictures from IMATS that I took
